Click “Settings.”
Click “Accounts and Import” at the top.
In the “Change Account Settings” section, click “Change name.”
You’ll be prompted to re-enter your current password to confirm your identity
Then enter your password

Change your name
You can change the name of the gmail account. you could change the name from “home Fan” at homefan@gmail.com to “sai” at streetfan@gmail.com.

On your computer, open Gmail. You can’t change your username from the Gmail app.
In the top right, click Settings Settings.
Click Settings.
Click the Accounts and Import or Accounts tab.
In the “Send mail as” section, click edit info.
Add the name you want to show when you send messages.
At the bottom, click Save Changes.

Gmail is the most widely used email service owned by google only
To change you username –
Log into your Gmail account, and click the profile icon in the upper right-hand side corner.
Then Click “My account.”
A new page will open and click “personal info and privacy” at the top.
A new page will open where it will show your personal info including your name, click on you name.
Enter your new name
You’ll be prompted to re-enter your current password to confirm your identity
Then enter your password
