Snapchat is a mobile messaging application used to share photos, videos, text, and drawings. It’s free to download the app and free to send messages using it.
To use snapchat filters go to the Camera screen in Snapchat.
Hit anywhere on the screen. Lens options will appear below.
Use your rear-facing camera for better quality.
Swipe left to select the Lens you want to use.
Follow any action prompts that appear, like ‘Raise Your Eyebrows’.
Tap the capture button to take a Snap, or press and hold on the capture button to record a video.

The lenses depend on facial recognition, so chances are you’re going to be using the forward-facing camera.Hold down on the screen once you get the camera in position, which should pull up a grid that fits your face, like the picture above.Hold Down On Your FaceMake Sure It’s FocusedIf you don’t focus the grid correctly, chances are you’ll have hearts coming out of your nose. It’s a cool look, but it’s probably not what you’re going for. To realign the grid on your face, just press on the center of your face until it reappears.Choose Your Lens
At the bottom of the screen, you can scroll horizontally among the available lenses.Follow The Directions

When you open the app, you’ll be presented with the camera screen. To view your profile and friends list, click the ghost icon in the top left-hand corner
This will show your profile picture, username and who has added you as a friend. You can see your list of friends by pressing My Friends
To increase your friends list on Snapchat, click Add Friends and select how you want to add them: search by username, scan a friend’s Snapcode, find nearby friends or browse your contacts
Go back to the camera screen by pressing the arrow in the top left-hand corner or press the circle at the centre of the bottom of the screen. The latter is a simple way to always return to the start screen
