In the timeline window, select create frame animation, if not select it from drop down options. 3. Add layer to all your frames by selecting the top navigation and select all layers. Open the same menu on top and select “make frames froml layers”. 4.Under each frame select the duration it should display before switching to other frame. 5. At the bottom of the tool bar select the number of times the gif should loop. Select the preview, check how it works and modify the gif if required. 6. Save and export your gif.

Using photo shop,1. Import a series of photos
Open Photoshop and go to File > Scripts > Load Files into Stack.

2. Open the Timeline
Go to Window > Timeline to open the Timeline panel.

Click the arrow on the button in the middle of the panel and select Create Frame Animation. Then click the button to create a new frame animation.

This will convert all the layers in the Layers panel into individual frames in your animation.

You can make an animated gif by using a GIF maker like Make a Gif

It allows you to convert any files (even webcam) into a gif and gives you the freedom to add text and stickers as well.

If you’re a content creator or have clients who are all about the HD with watermarks, then I’d suggest you opt for their premium instead.

The best tool to make animated gif is using Adobe AfterEffect. You can create a shape and animate by creating keyframes on the timeline. Most common type of animation is vector-based. You can also create shapes in Illustrator or Photoshop and import them into AfterEffect.
There are three main things to animate in Aftereffect: position, scale and opacity. For more subtle effect, you can adjust the velocity curve to achieve nature movement. The first thing you do is creating a composition. And then draw and animation. In the end you render the composition into video format.
Since Aftereffect can’t export into GIF format, you have to import the video you rendered into Photoshop(import video frame into layers). And then save as gif. Things to take note here is that gif is always optimized so the resolution will drop from original.

Find a good video sequence with which you want to make a GIF. This can be practically anything, but try to opt for a clip that is not too long, as longer video generally leads to a larger file size.Download/upload the video clip you’ve chosen to your desktop.Open the video with Photoshop. To do this, just navigate to File > Import > Video Frames to Layers. Select the video file you want and Photoshop will open it as a series of still frames. You can choose to import the entire video from beginning to end, or use sliders to select a smaller portion of the clip. Limiting the frames will make the file smaller, but will also make the video more choppy.Mess with the settings. You can adjust color balance and whatnot with Photoshop at this point if you’d like. When you have everything looking perfect, head to File > Save for Web. Save and share! Hit the save button to finalize your creation and save it to your folder of choice. Once that is done, you can upload it to a free image hosting site like Imgur to share it with your friends and embed it into blogs and websites.

First of all what is GIF? Speaking on technical terms Graphic Interchange Format is a bitmap image format, which are 8-bit image which limits them to a maximum use of only 256 colours, and uses lossless compression method. It is widely used in animation. Now how to make it, there are various tools available on the internet for making GIF or you can make it online also, there are sites which provide tools for making GIF where you just need to select images from your system and give the desired effects ,one of such site is like “http://gifmaker.me” , but it’s not much effective as software is. Some applications to make GIFs are Photoscape, GifApp, AnimateGif.
