Twitter is like message communication tool, where you update your status and it get posted automatically into your follower’s feed. However twitter doesn’t give you as much freedom as facebook gives to you for marketing. There are some strategies by which you can promote your business in twitter, like-
Make your twitter account, and choose appropriate themes and content which suits your business style.
Include your website’s address, blog , and contact information in your profile
Start following peoples, and please be selective, you can follow your customers, and be updated about what people requires from you.
Twit your company’s latest trend and strategy, and talk to people whoever are interested.
Be active on twitter, don’t let your company lose your valuable customer.
Organise your followers list, like valuable customers, occasional customers, frequent customer, less frequent customers etc. This will help you to identify that to which customers you should give highest priority to.

If you choose any marketing paltform like facebook, instagram ,twitter or any other social media. The intention is same- to target the audience and make sales. All you need to do is create a good strategic plan and implement. It happens same with the twitter also. Get your content ready. It can be in any format like video, audio, status, images, blogppost etc. This will deliver information to your targeted audience about your product or service. The twitter is more famous for celebrity tweeting. So, make few contacts with the high following celebrity and let them post or tweet about your product. This shouldn’t be like promoting the product. It should be like their own lifestyle, let the celebrity make a video like a general one where he uses your product or service. This should happen with any kind of social media marketing. All you need to do is to deliver the content to your targeted audience, make sales and fill your pockets if possible fill your teasure roomor vault.

1)First of all decide on your target industry and then select the social network where your potential leads are most active on. In case of B2C businesses Twitter and facebook should be your first priority, whereas in case of B2B go for Linkedin.

2)Once you have a track of their accounts study their content.

3)Once through, begin building a relationship with them on twitter. This could be done by sharing your feedback on the content they have shared or asking for their reviews on similar content. Do not send the sales pitch in the first conversation.

4)Once they respond positively to your engagements, pitch them with sales message and keep a track with regularly spaced followups. Make sure your conversations are genuine and don’t look like spam messages.

There is no such thing as enough networking ,more is less when it comes to networking .Not a hype amongst the youth but this platform sure creates a good forum for the professionals to connect together,

The connections on LinkedIn are made as :

1.)Go under the contacts menu and select ‘Add connections’ .You can enter your email address,import your desktop email application contacts or enter a list of email address to connect.

When you’re ready to send your request using LinkedIn, just follow these steps:

Click the Add Connections button at the top right of the LinkedIn home page. The Add Connections window appears.

Click the Any Mail button.

Click the blue Send Invitations button.
