Hip Hop India

After the success of Zoya Akhtar directed ‘Gully Boy’ .The entire nation started chanting ‘Ápna Time Aayega’ and brands found the perfect opportunity to reach out to the new-age audience.

With Hip Hop fever rising up in the country, brands have started riding this bandwagon, too, especially those who cater to the millennials.

Here are some brands who followed the Hip Hop trend:

Myntra –EAT. BREATHE. STREET

India’s favorite online fashion store has created a video of unforgettable story of individuals who’ve made the streets their very own fashion runway.

Conceptualized by 101 India, the video conspicuously booms the essence of style, passion, and culture originating from the streets or gullies of Mumbai and is also a tribute to the artists in the video who have shaped and made it their way of life.

BJP – #ModiOnceMore

Since the political parties are branding themselves more than most brands we have added BJP’s new video to this list.
BJP is now trying the Hip Hop way to reach the younger audience and released a video with a rap hailing Narendra Modi and his achievements during his regime.

Ola – #GullyGullyOla

Capitalizing on this Hip Hop wave, Ola, one of the world’s largest ridesharing platforms, collaborated with Excel Entertainment – the makers of ‘Gully Boy’. Under the partnership, Ola offered a unique platform to the country’s aspiring rappers, wherein they invited to share their songs and win a chance to showcase their talent to the entire country.

fbb’s #INDIA Ka Style anthem pictures Naezy rapping in a different fashion and at the same time encouraging the country’s public to be in style.
