ICICI, one of the largest private banks in India, announced the exciting launch of their WhatsApp banking services. This step is taken to enable the customers to operate their banking services from their homes amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Customers will be able to check their account balance, credit card limits last three transactions, loan offers, etc. with the help of ICIC Whatsapp banking services. They’ll also be able to check their nearest ICICI bank ATMs and branches via the service.
Executive Director of ICICI Bank Anup Bagchi said:
“It has always been our endeavour to offer improved convenience to our customers. Recently, we had rolled out ‘ICICIStack’. Now, we have introduced this service on WhatsApp, one of the most popular instant messaging applications in the world. Our retail customers can execute a host of their banking requirements on their own, without visiting a branch. The services are instantaneous and secure. With the growing prominence of social media in every-day life, we believe that this would add immense convenience to our customers, as it allows them to bank while they are on social media,“.
ANy customer of ICICI Bank who is also registered on WhatsApp will be able to access these services. Customers will also be able to block or unblock their credit card with the help of this service. If you are a non-ICICI bank customer, you can use this free service to know the nearest branch or ATMs
