Guess what Amitabh Bachchan is king every, be it Social Media or Indian Cinema.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, an active user of social media, on Monday reached a new landmark by garnering 14 million fans on micro-blogging site Twitter and Today made it to 40 million all across Social Media.

The 72-year-old actor, who is currently in Cairo, has beaten the likes of Shah Rukh Khan (who recently landed 12 million fans), Aamir Khan (11.9million), Salman Khan (11.2 million) and Priyanka Chopra (9.3million).

As soon as Big B got 14 million followers on Twitter, he couldn’t contain his excitement and wrote on the popular social networking site, “Okay! 14 million on twitter! 20 million on FB… 3 million on Blog… 40 MILLION here I come!!!! BADDDOOOOMMBA!,”.

The megastar has been an active user on Twitter, Facebook and on his blog. Known for his humility in real life, Bachchan holds a special place in the heart of his fans. He shares his personal pics, thoughts, professional life, and humbles his fans by wishing them their birthdays and replying to their queries.

Yes, his fan following is only growing bigger and bigger with each passing day. There is a certain myth that people from the earlier generation find it difficult to acclimatize to social media and technology. Reason for a sudden increase in the followers and likes is because of his recent activities in the Bollywood, He recently released Shamitabh which was liked and appreciated by a certain segment of the society as well as his coming movie, Piku also looks convincing and has attracted him towards the limelight on Social Media.
