WinZO raises funds from Hike and Kalaari capital

Real-Money gaming portal WinZO Games has raised $5 Million in latest Series A round led by Hike, chat based payment platform and Kalaari Capital.

WinZO is founded in 2018 based in Bengaluru by Paavan Nanda and Saumya Singh Rathore of ZO Rooms. The startup provides an e-sports vernacular gaming portal with a real deal of money. The platform is available in 10 languages that offer games like carrom, sniper 3D, Bubble Shooter, fantasy league, fruit samurai, cricket, and more.

The gaming startup has over 7 million users across cities in India and claims to have users spending around 55 minutes in the app.

Hike reported to media that,

“Gaming to us has always been a new, bite-sized source of entertainment for the masses. As we unbundle Hike, we think of our investment in WinZO and its stellar team as a strong bet in the segment.”

WinZO games declared last week that it has raised $1.5 million funds to support the game developers. The funds will be used to develop localised content for the portal in collaboration with CherryPicked game developers in India.

WinZO lock horns with gaming platforms like Dream 11, Games2Win, GamePind, and more.
