POPxo launches its first offline retail store in Delhi

POPxo, a digital media and lifestyle platform for 21-century women, has entered into offline retailing by launching its first independent outlet at Select CITYWALK mall in Delhi.

POPxo entered into e-commerce biz last year through POPxo Shop that sells a varied ranged of lifestyle products- bags, laptop sleeves, and notebooks. The digital community platform is also launching skincare and fashion products this June.

The startup is in plans to open 4 more spaces in the coming months with its private label and merchandise.

On launching the store, Priyanka Gill, Founder of POPxo stated that,

“Producing private label merchandise is a natural progression for us as a content company. We use data and inputs from our most popular articles, videos, and social memes to design products that millennial love. These products are then sold online via content to our existing user-base of millions of women. Now, with the new launch, they will be sold offline as well.”

New Delhi-based startup POPxo is founded in 2013 by Priyanka Gill and Namrata Bostrom. The platform is a community for women that deals on fashion, lifestyle, work, beauty, and more.

POPxo has over 39 million monthly users, with over approximately 102 million monthly content views. It provides content in English, Telugu, Hindi, Bangla, Tamil, and Marathi on trending topics of fashion, work, relationships, and beauty.

The startup has raised a total of $12.4 Million funds from the investors- Neoplux, Oppo, Kalaari Capital, Chiratae Ventures, Summit Media, among others.

The Little Black Book, The Better India, and ScoopWhoop are the content platform contenders to the company, but yet these do not have any offline presence so far.

Recently, Walmart-owned Myntra too announced its foray into a new offline store called ‘Roadster Go’ at Vega City mall in Bengaluru.

Ladies what’s more to wait when POPxo gives us more XOXOs with its fashion merchandise. Go Grab’em.
