Hardik Pandya said many problematic things on the recent episode of Koffee with Karan. The cricketer came across as sexist and misogynist – which did not go down well with viewers and people on social media.
Famous cricketer Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul recently featured in one the episodes of Koffee with Karan and the cricketers seem to be in a lot of trouble as some of the things they said did not go well with people and they are very vocal about it on social media.
As soon as the episode was aired, Twitterati called the Indian all-rounder out for his ‘misogynistic’ and ‘creepy’ approach towards women.
The first ever episode of #KoffeeWithKaran where I couldn’t sit through the one-hour show … #HardikPandya proved he is a 9th standard failure … no education, no etiquette & no respect towards women … what a waste of time!!!

The famous sports journalist from Aaj Tak “Vikrant Gupta” also felt that the cricketer has let everyone down with their behavior on the show.
More than himself or his family Hardik Pandya has let down the Team dressing room. More than BCCI, the team management and players must be asking questions of him #KoffeeWithKaran

Meanwhile, cricket governing body BCCI issued a showcase notice to Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul for their comments on the show.
Here’s what commentator Harsha Boghle have to say about this.
It is all very well to issue show-cause notices now to KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya. But I do wish the BCCI spends time in sensitising these young players to life beyond the dressing room; to getting them outside the bubble that is inevitable given the adulation they get.
