Fashion E-commerce Startup, Zoomtail Raised Funds Led By Matrix Partners India

Bengaluru-based omnichannel fashion e-commerce portal, Zoomtail Technologies Pvt Ltd raised an undisclosed amount in the latest seed round led by Matrix Partners India, a Mumbai-based venture capital firm.

The other investors in the round include US-based seed-stage investor V1 Capital, Freecharge founder Kunal Shah, MakeMyTrip product chief Anshuman Bapna, and Curefit business head Shamik Sharma.

Zoomtail Technologies founded in 2018 by Varun Jain and Swedesh Srivastava– a fashion-focused e-commerce platform for fashion SMEs and recognized as India’s largest B2B e-commerce platform for fashion consumer goods and providing easy-to-use tools to expand the business of people working in them.

The startup helps retailers serve 1.3+ consumers right fashion selection with reasonable cost by amalgamate of both offline and online experiences through technology and design for all stakeholders of the fashion ecosystem in India.

As per the company, the funds raised in the latest seed round is used to expand the team and build an enhanced technology platform for manufacturers, retailers, and SMEs aiding them trade and expand their customer base and network reach.

“Our vision is to enable fashion SMEs (small and medium enterprises), and people working in them, by giving them easy-to-use tools to be more effective and expand their business,” said in the statement by the co-founders, Zoomtail.

Mumbai-based Matrix Partners India has invested in several startups encouraging them to lead the sphere to deliver with more innovation. Some of the companies include Practo, Daily hunt, Treebo, Limeroad, Ola, Quikr and many more.
