Games2Win Gaming Portal Unveils REPLAY Fund For Gaming Startups

Games2win, a Mumbai-based online gaming portal, has announced the launch of REPLAY Gaming Fund that is focused at gaming startups and entrepreneurs.

Alok Kejriwal, a Co-founder, said during the launch that invites gaming startups seeking funding and mentors them throughout the development process using its network.

He also states,

“Instead of taking equity in a startup, we will share the revenue agreement with the developer. After that, the startup can carry on with its next title without our intervention. We want to help gaming startups and entrepreneurs hit ‘Replay’ without delay.”

Games2Win is founded in 2005 by Alok Kejriwal and Mahesh Khambadkone. The company has over 1 million daily active users, and some of the best-noted games include- Parking Frenzy, Driving Academy, and International Stylist.

It has no capital restriction for the funding, but it has to be with an initial figure of Rs 10 crore.

Recently, New York-based Rockstar Games Inc acquired Indian art production studio Dhruva for an undisclosed fee.

Another gaming platform Nazara Technologies invested an undisclosed amount in Bakbuck, a vernacular social contesting platform based in Mumbai.

Fantasy gaming platform, Dream11 announced the secondary investment by Steadview Capital in March and marked its position in Unicorn club.
