Google Allows Users Shop From Search, Images, And YouTube

Google revamps shopping experience to its users by letting them add items to a universal shopping cart from various shopping sites. The new shopping feature allows users to buy items directly from Google Search, Images, and YouTube.

Google with this shopping action providing new ways to search, find and compare over millions of shopping products from the thousands of stores and to buy them online or from nearby stores. Users can also shop from Google Shopping tab.

The announcement was made on Tuesday, as the brand new Google Shopping is replacing Google Express.

Google Marketing Live announced that,

“This year we’re unveiling a redesigned Google Shopping experience with new, immersive ways for shoppers to discover and compare millions of products from thousands of stores. When they’re ready to buy, they can choose to purchase online, in a nearby store and now directly on Google.”

How does it work?

For instance, you want to do a Google Search on a new set of headphones. While viewing a product page in the search results, there is a possibility of a blue “Add to cart” button that allows you to buy an item on the go.

The button is probable to appear when viewing about a product on YouTube, or while viewing photos of the product in Google Images. The products can be carted wherever you can see Google’s “Add to cart” presence.

Google also ensures that a user can purchase with confidence providing customer support and returns, sourced by a Google guarantee.

The new shopping action will be automatically added to the new Google Shopping home page and as well in the Google Search and Google Assistant. It was announced that the new Shopping Actions to YouTube and Google Images will be added later this year.
