Last year Instagram rolled out Shopping feature to its feed and Stories, and earlier this month it even announced the Checkout feature. This time Instagram has been spotted testing on ‘Order’ sticker in stories. Matt Navarra, a social media commentator, has spotted the feature and taken this to Twitter.
It looks like Instagram is working on letting a user have a complete ability to shop through the application. The Order sticker and Product Sticker has appeared along with the quiz, GIFs, music, and other stickers.
Instagram has not yet released any of the statement on how the feature work and what functionality it may or may not support. But Navarra’s screenshot shows that the sticker is with a dollar sign that hints about the payment method in the app. The screenshot also shows a Product sticker along with it.
So many doubts raise about the sticker functionality, whether it will be only for major brands to tag products for users to order or Order and Product stickers are connected.
Instagram Checkout feature allows us to tap on the product that is featured explicitly along with its price. Users can checkout and can pay via Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Pay Pal, and Visa. The company indeed enabled brands to link with their websites for users to stop and shop.
