India’s leading e-pharma portal Netmeds.com has acquired health tech platform KiviHealth in a stock deal for $10 million to integrate and expand the KiviHealth business.
With this acquisition, Netmeds strives to transform the brand into a whole healthcare product with tech-driven solutions.
KiviHealth is a health tech startup founded in 2015 by Rajandeep Singh and Bhanu Mahajan. The platform aims to provide an economical, patient-centric, digital health information management system to make easy access to patients across multiple clinics, labs, hospitals, and pharmacies.
The startup uses AI to give a chatbot experience to the users and to maintain a record for patients and doctors. The platform helps users to get notified on track health timeline and medicine schedule.
KiViHealth claims to have more than 3100 hospitals and health centers enrolled and operates more than 2 Mn patient records with serving about 2000 doctors through its website and mobile app.
KiViHealth cofounder Bhanu Mahajan said in a statement.

Chennai-based Netmeds.com is one of the most trusted e-pharmacies portal founded in 2010 by Pradeep Dadha. It is one of the leading pharmaceuticals in India raised about $99 million and has a total annual revenue of $4.7M.
On Sep 25, 2018, the startup acquired JustDoc. The company serves around 3.7 million customers over 610 cities. It competes with 1mg, mChemist Global Pvt. Ltd., and CareOnGo.
