New Delhi, July 26, 2018: After testing its beta version couple of months back that received a tremendous response, Ashutosh Pandey and Apurva Sharma, entrepreneurs and start-up ignitors have officially launched their new venture, Elate Wellbeing that provides online emotional counselling and support to people to enhance their mental health. Elate Wellbeing will focus on a wide range of psychological issues affecting people including depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, eating disorder, anger management, and mobile/gaming addiction etc.
Speaking about the launch, Ashutosh Pandey, Founder, Elate Wellbeing, said, “Elate is a platform trying to bridge the gap between clients and counsellors. We have tied up with 20 psychologists with 5-20 years’ experience in handling such issues. We also have an in-house team of psychologists available to talk or chat with people. Online counselling has proven to be as effective as face to face talk therapies. It also tends to be more convenient and affordable. People also feel more comfortable talking online compared to visiting clinics to avoid the stigma attached to mental health issues.”
The brainchild of husband-wife due- Ashutosh and Apurva, Elate Wellbeing is a combination of scientifically proven therapies like cognitive behavioural therapy, dynamic therapy etc. The idea is to relieve people from the instantly increasing motivational talk culture that are mostly based on a monologue basis.
“Currently we are focussing on North Indian cities including Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Chandigarh. But we expect to grow multifold in the next 6-9 months to cover more cities. Interestingly, we are also working with clients from abroad including Singapore and Canada. These are NRIs or Indians moved recently, who prefer to consult an Indian counsellor owing to cultural similarity and affordability.” added Ashutosh.
Before its launch, founders have invested close to 12 months in doing in-depth research on emotional issues and best possible therapies available globally.
