Google just had its annual developer’s conference in which it announced its latest line of services and products
The biggest focus of this year’s event seemed to be Android.
NEW AND EXCITING FEATURES
The most notable among these are the release of Android 12, built-in features coming to Android such as Television remote control built into phones, ability to lock and unlock your personal vehicle using your phones. You can capture an image of text and then translate that text into around 100 different foreign languages.
All these features, in conjunction, turn your Android phone into even more of a Swiss army knife than it already was.
SMART CANVAS
Among all these notable features, there is one that especially stands out. This feature is called the Smart Canvas.
This provides a framework inspired by the interconnected design of the web where users are allowed to connect people, files and building blocks with each other; these building blocks can be created by a template that already exists with things like responsive tables and assigns people their individual tasks.
There are some third-party apps that allow users to do these things, but integrating this stuff with the entirety of Google docs certainly can certainly bring some much-needed positive changes that can be further built and improved upon by the company in the future.
This is also in keeping with most of the stuff already happening with big software companies, where the utility provided by the third-party apps is being integrated as a feature into the app itself.
