Guwahati, Assam, Sept 14, 2018 –  Eventours Travels LLP has launched its own offshoot brand of sustainable camping ET Qemp. While the initial months will see ET Qemp setting up temporary campsites at vivid locations across Assam, Meghalaya and Nagaland, the forward plan is to set up permanent campsites at locations that are yet to come into the regular hotel map.

ET Qemp Area 51 is the first of its kind by Eventours Travels LLP into the outdoor camping segment and this time it’s in Jowai, Meghalaya on Nov 2nd and Nov 3rd 2018 for the NH7 Weekender concert. “Area 51 for the NH7 Weekender campsite was a name that caught us when we ran a contest as part of a  campaign on Facebook for the campsite. Somehow the name Area 51 blends well into our kind of travel business.” Said Amitabh Sarma, Co-Founder of Eventours Travels.

“More is more travellers are looking for a different way to explore North East India and enhance their vacation experience here,” said Raunak Narayan Deb, the other Co-Founder of Eventours. “We have crafted these trips in such a way that guests have a deeper insight into the destination.”

Amitabh Sarma further adds that ET Qemps will focus on creating a more sustainable outdoor camping habit amongst its takers. “The whole idea is to generate enough awareness about partnering with nature and giving nature its due share back.” He adds.

Eventours Travels is known for their brand of event-based travel across various locations both nationally and internationally. With the website being upgraded to a more user-friendly one, the prime focus of the company now shifts to activity-based travel rather than sticking to packaged trips.
