2018 is going to be a promising year for the gaming fans regardless of the platform you choose. It is going to be one of the best years for gaming in with the release of plenty of games to play on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
Here is the list of games what we think you should be playing in 2018, across the main gaming platforms.
#1 God of War(PS4)
It is one of the most famous gaming franchise of all time. The upcoming edition of God of Wars is expected to be more epic than ever as the series protagonist Kratos shed some of his rage-fuelled personas, playing a more mature role what with his son joining the fray in a mystical Norse world. Although Sony has not announced any official date for the release, it is expected to release in March or Mid April as all the previous editions were launched during the same period.
#2 Sea of Thieves(Xbox)
This is the most awaited Xbox game of 2018 expected to release in the first quarter of 2018. The game is developed by legendary British studio Rare, Sea of Thieves is a multi-player adventurous game that has you playing as a pirate. Sea of thieves is expected to launch on March 20 worldwide.
#3 Yakuza 6(PS4)
Yakuza is a long-running open-world gangster series. This decade-old gaming franchise has a very loyal fan base. Yakuza6 is set to release on 20th March 2018 exclusive to the PS4. New Japan Pro Wrestling stars are also going to feature along with acclaimed Yakuza film director Beat Takeshi in the new edition of Yakuza.
#4 Metro Exodus (PS4 and Xbox)
Set in the post-apocalyptic wasteland of Russia, you’ll experience life underground where metro stations have become home to many as well as partake in a journey across the continent in search of something better. No release date has been revealed for Metro Exodus, other than a Fall 2018 launch window.
#5 FarCry 5(PS4 and Xbox)
Farcry 5 is set to release on March 27, 2018. The trailer for the game is already out and it seems to be a visually arresting world packed with things to explore, shoot, and liberate along with more than enough environmental variety to accompany the action.
#6 Monster Hunter(Xbox and PS4)
As the name suggests you’ll be tracking down monsters across a colorful, stunning world with friends or solo. The latest entry in this series aims to be accessible, something past editions lacked and were usually restricted to a niche audience outside of Japan. Check out this action role-playing game on January 26.
