Foundation:

Voonik is a Bangalore based funded startup founded in the year of 2013. The vision is to be “Every woman’s personal stylist”. It was founded by Sujayath Ali and Navaneetha Krishnan.

Voonik has more than 10 million registered users and the count is still going up. Voonik offers you the convenience of buying multiple brands in a single cart. There are more than 1,50,0000 products from more than 6000 different brands to choose from.

 

About Voonik Founding Members:

Sujayath Ali: Sujayath Ali is the Co-founder and CEO of Voonik. He has many years of experience in Product Management, E-commerce Analytics and more. His leadership skill and market expertise is one the big reason behind the success of Voonik.

Navaneetha Krishnan: Navaneetha Krishnan is the co-founder and Chief technical officer of voonik.com. Navaneetha is the head of IT team of Voonik right from its inception. Navaneetha has over a decade of experience in information and technology and has expertise in managing IT departments over the year.

Revenue Model:

Voonik brings multiple online stores in a single cart. It has more than 3000 brands and more than 100 online brands like Jabong, Yepme, Zovi, fashion and you etc. Voonik works on both in-house sale and sales through seller model. Voonik charges 15% of commission on every sale from different brands and sellers. Deliveries are handled through third-party logistics partner.

Marketing and Branding:

For the majority of its traffics Voonik relies on social media marketing on famous social media websites like Facebook and twitter etc.

They have quite a presence on Facebook with more than 1 lakh page like and more than 50,000 followers on Instagram.

TV commercial:  Voonik’s first TV commercial was featuring Bollywood celebrity Farah Khan. Voonik also launched an online campaign with hashtag #HarDinFashionKar.

Vision:

Voonik aims to become a clear leader in the space of women’s fashion. It is also targeting $100 million GMV run rate in the next 12 months. The overall vision of the founders is to alter the way Indians shop and make picking out the perfect clothes easier than ever before!
