Google to add the ability to order food directly from search results with help of services like DoorDash, Postmates, Delivery.com, Slice, ChowNow, and more coming at a later date.
Soon you will be able to order food directly from Google without leaving search results like shown in the image below.
The user just has to tap the “Order Now” button, make your selections, and pay with Google Pay. Or, if you prefer, you can order with Google Assistant by saying “Hey Google, order food from [restaurant].”
This update will be rolling out to Search, Maps, and Assistant starting soon.
