Graphic India- a mobile content and Character Entertainment Company. Primarily focused on creating leading characters, comics and stories through mobile and digital platforms. It is currently evolving in a massive, interconnected Superhero Cinematic Universe of Indian inspired characters for audience across the globe. Founded in 2011 by media entrepreneurs Sharad Devarajan, Gotham Chopra, and Suresh Seetharaman and headquartered in Central Region, Singapore, and Mumbai India. Graphics India concisely of Comics, Film, Mobile, and Publishing.
Graphic India, owned by U.S. comic book Company, Liquid Comics and CA Media LP, the Asian investment arm of The Chernin Group, LLC(TCG). In 2006, Sharad Devarajan, self-help guru Deepak Chopra, Richard Branson of Virgin Group and filmmaker Shekar Kapur and few others launched Virgin Comics. In 2008, Sharad bought the company and renamed as Liquid Comics and made as a parent company to Graphic India Pvt. Ltd. where it produces character-centric stories
Sharad Devarajan, an Indian American is a notable media entrepreneur who gained huge recognition for his dedication and passion towards the development of a graphic novel. He’s an adjunct Associate Professor at Columbia Business School where he teaches Media Marketing and Entrepreneurship and Transmedia and Transcreation.
Mr. Deverajan produced many theatrical live-action films and created entertainment products with the renowned film actors, musicians including John Woo, Guy Ritchie, Nicolas Cage and many more. Previously he co-founded Gotham Entertainment Group, South Asia’s leading comic book publisher.
Gotham Chopra, an American author, documentary Filmmaker, and Entrepreneur. Mr.Chopra worked in Channel One News before co-founding Graphic India.
Suresh Seetharaman is a professional graduated from School of Visual Arts, NYC. He is a pioneer at storytelling, Film, Marketing Strategy, Animation and Advertising, and former member of Creative Works and Virgin Comics.
