About ZiffyHomes

ZiffyHomes is a Gurgaon-based technology-driven home rental marketplace that makes it simple to rent homes.  It offers ready to move-in individual rooms to tenants for long stays without any maintenance worry. ZiffyHomes was launched in 2015 by Saurabh Kumar, Sanchal Ranjan with the aim of making house renting convenient for everybody without any maintenance worry, the convenience of online rent payment, and freedom to move across its homes.

Sanchal Ranjan:

Sanchal Ranjan co-founder and CEO of ZiffyHomes is an alumnus of prestigious NITK Surathal, Sanchal has held a various position in the consulting background and leadership position during his tenure with KPMG and Deloitte Consulting. Prior to starting his entrepreneurial journey with ZiffyHomes in 2015.

Saurabh Kumar:

Saurabh Kumar(Co-founder of ZiffyHomes) is an alumnus Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur has worked for Mitsui OSK Lines and SBI Capital Markets as Assistant Engineer and Assistant Vice President – Investment Banking respectively. On Sep 22, 2015, he Co-founded Sanchal Ranjan and Salil Aggarwal.

Salil Aggarwal:

Salil Aggarwal is Co-founder and CBO of ZiffyHomes. Salil went to Uttar Pradesh Technical University and worked for Wipro Technologies. He has also Co-Founded GoPeppers an organization helping myriads of consumers in their day to day life.

ZiffyHomes Funding

ZiffyHomes has raised Rs 2 crore in January 2018, from a group of angel investors led by Bikky Khosla, chief executive of business-to-business portal Trade India and Anirudh Agarwal, managing director of diversified business conglomerate Shree Sharda Group. Others who participated in the round include Ajay Kaul, CEO of Jubilant FoodWorks; Karan Kumar, founder and CEO of Dubai-based investment firm Amalthea Capital, and Mini Monesh, managing director of wellness and spa chain Virgo Wellness.

The startup plans to utilize the capital to expand its infrastructure by building studio apartments, which would cater to a niche segment of executive class accommodation.

ZiffyHomes Acquisitions

Fella Homes

ZiffyHomes has acquired Gurugram-based home rental startup Fella Homes for an all cash plus equity deal. Founded in 2015, Fella Homes has been plugged as a branded network of ready-to-move rental homes for professionals in metro cities.

Nivaasa

In April 2018, ZiffyHomes has acquired another rental startup “Nivaasa”. Nivaasa provides home seekers with an integrated online-to-offline house-hunting solution.

ZiffyHomes Competitors

The company competes with Bengaluru-based NestAway, which has been funded by investment firm Tiger Global, Ratan Tata and IDG Ventures, and has raised more than $45 million so far. Amarendra Sahu, Smruti Parida, Deepak Dhar, and Jitendra Jagadev founded it in January 2015.

Ambitions

The company is currently present only in Delhi-NCR and is looking to expand to other cities. For homeowners, the company provides a platform to connect with verified tenants and help them earn higher house rental round the year in addition to a trouble-free home rental management solution. It uses an analytics-based algorithm to generate area heat maps providing demand forecast and rentals of prevailing areas for users.
