Twitter redesigns its platform for desktop users

Twitter has finally launched a redesigned desktop interface that the company has been announcing for weeks.

The company proudly broadcasts on the desktop home page “A whole new Twitter is coming.”

The social media platform has kept its promise by introducing a remodelled Twitter on the desktop.

Here is the list of new features that Twitter redesign added to its desktop:

  • Dark mode
Twitter redesign desktop
  • Bookmarks
  • The Sparkle button
  • Explore page.

Twitter’s redesigned interface enables users to find things pretty easily as promised.

The addition of new items in the navigation menu helps users can get to go to specific sections with minimum clicks.

For instance, if a user wants to look at a list, he/she can click on the “Lists” in the navigation menu. Whereas earlier we have to hover to our profiles and click on the Lists.

Even it promised Twitter Redesign, did it satisfy users?

Twitter’s hype of the whole redesign has didn’t live up. The redesigning of the interface looks like a rearrangement of the old version of Twitter.

Trending topics have moved to the right side of the screen which is at the left and navigation was moved to the left from the top, with a new section of DM.
